While similar in function to our Santa Maria grills with height-adjustable grates, this model includes several unique upgrades. A sleek architectural design, firebrick-lined floor and sidewalls for superior heat retention and a laser cut upper resting rack elevate both performance and versatility.

Easy Operation

Cooking with a JD Fabrications Argentine Grill is simple and efficient:

1. Build your fire directly in the center of the firebox
2. Place your food on the cooking grate
3. Adjust heat levels by raising or lowering the grate using the hand wheel

Our proprietary ratchet crank system securely holds the grate in place—even under heavy loads up to 250 lbs. The open-top design allows air to flow naturally into the grill, while the firebrick lining retains and intensifies heat for optimal cooking performance.

You can easily add fuel or manage the fire during cooking by lifting the grates. The upper rack provides a convenient space for resting, warming, or finishing meats. Consider adding a wind block/backsplash to direct even more heat to the upper rack making it usable for cooking.

We’ve engineered our fireboxes to withstand extreme heat—the most common failure point in traditional grills. Each firebox is formed from a fully folded steel tub with all four seams completely welded for maximum strength. The interior is fully lined with firebrick on both the floor and walls, creating a highly durable and heat-efficient cooking environment.

We’ve also eliminated front access doors, which commonly warp under high heat and create unnecessary mess. This streamlined, four-sided design improves both durability and functionality.
